Goodbye Summer

9.05.2011

Well summer, it's been real. While I am less than thrilled to be going back to school Wednesday (barfffffffff), I am very excited to be going into my senior year of college.
Frozen lychee martini to toast the start of summer, marriage equality in NY, summer essentials, breakfast outside on my patio, my first Salty Pimp from the Big Gay Ice cream truck, a trip to the MET to see the amazing Alexander McQueen exhibit, my first lobster roll back in June from Luke's Lobster, a life size metal bear that cost $8,000 that I really want.

  1. So jealous that you got to see the Alexander McQueen exhibit! I wish I was in town for that :) and the lobster roll looks really yummy. I've never had one so next summer haha

  2. I have an idea! Maybe you can fly to London if and when they decide to show it over there!!!
And yes, Luke's Lobster is THE. BEST. I'm obsessed.

  4. It would be nice if summer could stay here forever, well if summer had autumn weather, that would be perfection! Oh & I'm so happy about the marriage equality in NY, it's about time! I hope you have a good semester this year! :)

  5. I hate to say goodbye to summer but am grateful for just a smidge of lower temperatures :) 70s and 80s are a-ok with me!!!  Let me just tell you, this last year of college will go by so fast, I swear.  I graduated from my undergrad in 2007 and that year literally flew by. Although I put myself through the hell of graduate school (and do NOT) miss that whatsoever, I do miss college in general.  Enjoy it while you can!!!!! :)

  8. I am TOTALLY grateful for the fall weather. The only thing I like about summer is the minimal responsibility. I really hope this year goes fast! I really can't wait to be done (despite the fact that everyone says I will miss it asap.)
